It Was a Merry Independence Day

Dear Friends,

This Fourth of July our family held the annual Independence Day parade in our front drive. Frankie led the way with Old Glory, followed by lots of creative floats (and a few rescue vehicles).

The rescue vehicles were the only ones who had accidents during the parade!

We have been experiencing quite the heat wave this summer, but thankfully the Fourth was cooler and we were able to spend some time outside enjoying fresh air and fun.

Thank the Lord for a country that was based on freedom and hope!

Love,

Marqueta

  1. All the patriotic dolls made me chuckle. You had a vivid red, white, and blue parade.
