Isn't it amazing that something that looks like this~

Could turn into this in a few short weeks?

"Feed me!"

"Yawn"

And that these could be made into tasty muffins? ;)

  2. Oh Marqueta! The birds are so adorable!! The pictures are very good!

I still need to make dandelion root coffee! Our dandelions have had their peak bloom and now they are just blooming here and there. The bunnies love them. :) Things started late here bloom-wise, but now everything's blooming at once, some things early. It's kind of odd!

    Enjoy your spring miracles.

    Love,
    Lynn

  3. Oh, it was too funny! The pictures load really slowly for me (dial-up!) and so I read ahead! "AND THAT THESE COULD BE MADE INTO TASTY MUFFINS?" EEekkk! I know you eat alot of wild harvested things, but I didn't think you would go that far!!! :~O
But then, the picture finally showed up ~whew! you meant the dandylions, of course! *very sheepish grin*
Well, those little robbins (is that what they are?) are so ugly they are cute! They have a face (?) only a mother could love. Those eyes make them look like little aliens! with fuzz (that's kinda hit and miss!) BUT...
They will be absolutely adorable in a week or so!

Good Grief, Marqueta! I hope you didn't climb a tree to get the pictures? How much longer till your baby is due? Hope you are feeling well. Still praying for a new job for hubby.
    Be Blessed!

  4. I love the blue of those eggs. Are they Robins by chance? Such lovely pictures.

Your last picture reminds of springtime in Montana when we lived there. I loved the spring fresh green that came in so fast and then suddenly turned into lovely shades of browns as the grasses dryed.

    Have a Blessed Day

  7. Dear Marqueta,

Such lovely photos!!! I especially love the nest with the pretty blue eggs! The Carolina Wren eggs in my husband's pocket in his shop have hatched, and there are five babies!

I love dandelion, and drink a cup of dandelion tea most everyday.

    Love and blessings, Paula

  8. I love your baby bird pictures and the pretty blue eggs. We had baby bluebirds visit this morning at breakfast. I thought the bluebirds had been kicked out by sparrows and tree swallows this year. I was delighted to see that they had made a nest on our property.
