Permaculture Gardening

Dear Friends,

We have been gleaning lots of good information about gardening from YouTube lately, and we'd like to share some of our favorites. We love the idea of permaculture, which is a form of gardening in which Nature is observed, then copied as much as possible for growing food. Anything that takes less work sounds good to us!

This man's garden is in Florida, and his enthusiasm and knowledge are something that we can all learn from, no matter where we live~

These videos from England videos are just fun to watch, and inspiring as well~ Perfect to watch while hiding inside on a hot day! Enjoy.

  1. Wow! thanks! I live in Florida and I search to find a youtube for gardening just for our 'spot'!
Thanks... and for all we we can gain so much info.
But in Florida we have such harsh, harsh sun that beats the soil.

  2. Hello there, friend! Thanks for your very kind comment. Ahhh, well... I love videos like this and will enjoying gardening through these and through your adventures. Perhaps some day I will truly have a garden again. Maybe save for a house and it will be on my own next time!

  3. Marqueta ! just wanted to pop in to tell ya' that I've been busy working on permaculture here lately! so thrilled you found these videoes -especially being that they are Florida based. the sunshine here and the sandy soil really does make it hard to keep up veggies. I do have to share that I've already noticed progress in this short bit of time!!! our lowquat (baby tree) has sprouted up new growth galore!!!! I hope to do a blog post soon... but you know how time management goes and sometimes blogging has to be put on the back burner for a little while :))))

Thank you for coming to visit — I look forward to hearing from you!
