Dear friends,
This Tuesday we celebrated my forty-first trip around the sun. No wonder I'm so tired! :) The day was spent being with those I love best here at home (we were going to go to a botanical garden, but it was too cold to take Hyrum outside).
Frankie made me a paper farm, the next best thing to a real one. Evangeline made me a book commemorating our parakeet Peet, who passed away in March. Rebecca drew me "lots of little baby chicks and three foxes". Tasha gave me some service coupons, and Audrey wrote a parody of Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven. Oh, yes, and AnnaMarie spent the day before cleaning the kitchen and made the birthday meal!
To top it all off, I was blessed with a Pink Full Moon, which was a lovely way to end a lovely day.
Blessings to you today,
Marqueta
Happy Belated Birthday... what wonderful birthday presents you received!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday, dear Marqueta! And Frankie, also! Sounds like a perfect birthday. And a nice full moon to top it off. In some ways, a paper farm is far superior to a real one. It takes a lot less work, and there are no taxes to be paid on it!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful post... Lovely gifts from the girls. Happy Belated Birthday, Margueta.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a blessed Easter morning.
