Independence Day Fun

Dear Friends,

We hope you had a safe and happy Fourth of July! The Tall Dolls had their annual parade in the morning, which was great fun for all~

A hummingbird even decided to join in as a spectator, but was too camera shy to be photographed.

Ginger the cat was more interested in the begonias than the parade~

. . . And Hyrum was enamored of the tallest sunflower in the garden!

I love how Monarda (bee balm) looks like red fireworks, amid the white clouds of Queen Anne's Lace.

After the parade there was a wedding between "Uncle Sam" Jones and Bobbi Flower Bobby.
All the Small Dolls were in attendance, and a very memorable time they had, as well.

I hope you enjoyed visiting our Birdsong Cottage today!

Love,

Marqueta
