Happy New Year to you!
Our year started out peacefully enough, but then the next day we were hit with the stomach bug that has been going around our area. At least we all got it over with at the same time, but boy, the laundry was something else!
Studying from Dr. Christopher's book, reminding myself of all the things I should have done to keep us from getting sick (Here is a link to Dr. Christopher's writings online)~
Thank the Lord that we are over the worst of it, just feeling like we've come back from a vacation from our bodies. :)
At least we had lots of birds visiting us, giving us something to take our minds off of our tummies~
White-throated sparrows have the sweetest songs of all~
The moon had a beautiful "dog" around it last night, but our camera just couldn't grab it. This was the best it could do (with a silver maple limb in front)~
May your year be getting off to a wonderful start, and may your days be full of many little happinesses.
Love,
Marqueta
p.s. I leave you with a little Bob Ross to brighten your day~

I am sorry you have all been sick! Glad you are getting better! Life sends us one challenge after another, it seems, but so thankful for the good days mixed plentifully in between! Felt I could finally get out after the ice and snow here, but then had a flat tire when I made my first attempt to get out and get some things done. The hole, from a huge piece of gravel that landed just right in a brand new tire (!!), was too large to even patch. So I am on a spare until my tire arrives at the garage this afternoon. They had to order one to match the other three new tires. Ahhh. Onward and upward, as we like to say. Love, Lynn
