On Groceries

Dear Friends,

Over on my YouTube channel I was asked to show what we normally buy for groceries. After doing the biggest shopping trip that happens monthly, Tasha filmed and edited a little movie for you. Of course it does not cover EVERYTHING we buy (you would be bored!), but it's a fair sampling. I hope you enjoy it!

Love,

Marqueta

  1. Great video, Marqueta, and very informative! Guess I'm going to have to learn to love cilantro. Better order some seeds for it. No wonder you all are so lovely with all that healthy food!

  2. Yeah for Costco! I wish I had one around when my kids were young...we would've all eaten healthier and cheaper. Now that I am by a Walmart I am appreciating their prices. Very nice film editing! That is one large grocery haul. I didn't realize how healthy herbs such as parsley and cilantro are. I agree about the whole milk. I once read that growing kids need cholesterol actually, for muscle formation. Good thing you have so many helpers to put that all away. Andrea

  3. Thank you for sharing. WISH we had a CostCo. We would have to travel six hours to reach one. (South Dakota)

  4. Hi, Marqueta! Very interesting! I sure remember those big shopping trips to Sam's Club or Costco. And stocking up. I buy much less these days with the children all grown up.

  5. My goodness! You have so much information in the video! I love it! And, to finally hear your voice! What a treat! Hirum has grown as have the others... they grow up so fast! I love that you have ingredients and not "meals"! So much wiser use of food and money, don't you think? Thanks for sharing!
