It Was a Merry Fourth

Dear Friends,

How lovely to see you today! We hope you had a wonderful weekend, whether you celebrated Independence Day or not.

AnnaMarie surprised Mr. Graham with this patriotic breakfast~

The small dolls held their Independence Day parade on the third, while the tall dolls had theirs on the fourth.

No parade is complete without horses!

And a video of the Tall Doll Parade

Mr. Graham took the middle girls and Frankie to the local parade, which was lots of fun, too.

After all the parading was over, we took a drive to Wolverine Canyon with my mum and my brother's family, where we happily harvested burdock for eating, and bee balm and nettles for medicine.

The girls discovered a surprise amid the junipers:

A Fairy House in the Woods!

May you have a merry day,

Love,

Marqueta

  2. We have a fairy house or two. We have one really naughty fairy, her name is Flibbertyjibbert. She gets up to all sorts of mischief on the farm. If nobody knows who did it, it must've been Flibbertyjibbert! lol

  5. What a wonderful fourth your family shared. I especially loved the fairy house in the woods... what a lovely surprise for the girls! A quick thanks for your wonderful tidbit on the history of clover. I shared it with dear hubby right away and he was quite interested. I do believe the clover is here to stay! Fondly, natalie jo

  8. My fairies here in England want a little stone house just the same as yours and they would plant their little garden round it.
